Hi Merryde,
I still think the Gately on the Nile is the best place I have stayed in
Africa. I just finished recommending your place to a couple of guys
heading to Uganda. Don't forget to send me a copy of you book when it
comes out. I'm sure it'll be worth whatever it costs.
Take care.

Dear Merryde,
This is to say thank you from my friends and I, for the warm service
and good accomodation we received this past Easter weekend while
staying at Gately on Nile. My friends and I had a wonderful time in
Uganda and we will be sure to recommend your hotel to people here in
Kenya.
We hope to be back in the near future.
Regards,
Sharon

Dear Merryde,
I
just wanted to write and say thank you so much for an amazing holiday,
although parts of it were difficult, the time we spent at Gately was
everything we expected and more. James fell in love with Africa and has
talked about spending some time there in his holidays next year, which
is wonderful.
Hopefully we will get the opportunity to visit you
again in the near future. Thank you for all you did for us, it is very
much appreciated.
Hope all is well with you, best wishes.

Just
wanted to thank you very much for such a pleasant, comfortable and fun
stay at your beautiful lodge. Steve and l so enjoyed meeting you and
really wished we had more time to spend chatting and hearing all about
your life in Jinja. We sure hope that you continue to enjoy your
venture there and wish you every success for any other "establishments"
that pan out in the future. It was very nice to meet your chef and he
has a great menu already, so it can only get better.
Let us know if you're ever in NY!!
All the best
Trudy & Steve Ainge.
November 2003
Dear Ms. Loosemore,
Mr Michael Reilly will be arriving in Uganda on Sunday 16th November
2003. He was originally scheduled to stay at a friends house but his
wife objected. Peter then booked him into a shabby neighbouring
establishment in Kisinja road but Michael has objected and phoned to
ask if I could cancel this reservation and instead reserve him a room
at "Gately on the Nile" for the evening of 16th November. Gately is, in
his words, far and away the best "Establishment" in Jinja.
Yours sincerely,
Ian Mackintosh
